The newly built factory had installed electric window openers with KST-A01 Linear Actuators. For being conformity with the smoke ventilation regulations. But also for natural ventilation with high windows. We customized the color of linear actuators to dark grey to fit the color of window frames. The brackets were also powder-coated to dark grey. With customized products, the whole electric window systems seem more concise.
The windows were 70 square centimeters. Therefore, we choose KST-A01 linear actuators with 250 mm stroke length to open the windows to about 70 degrees. Each window installed 2 actuators to extend the lifespan and the ability to stand the wind load on high-rise buildings.
We connect a row of windows for parallel controlling windows in the same area. Most of the wiring is hiding in the wall in advance. For the exposed wires, we use a flexible polyethylene wire loom to protect this part of the wires.
It was about 4 meters in height on each floor. The spaces were for large production machines. Therefore, the windows were designed at about 3 meters in height. The electric window opening mechanism is for the smoke ventilation and daily ventilation to exhaust hot air. It provides a better working environment for workers.
