It's so easy to open the skylights of the Natatorium
Updated: Sep 24, 2020
A new opening stadium at Yeongju-si (영주시), South Korea. There is a subsidiary natatorium, which was built with openable skylight. For introducing the natural light. In the meanwhile, it had to provide great ventilation for the indoor.

The architect-designed windows with large glasses of windows at the roof as skylight windows. Let the interior been filled with natural sunshine.
Before installing glasses onto windows, the engineers pre-mount electric linear actuators on the window frame as automatic window openers.

In order to make sure the window is going to open stable by even force on both sides. The engineers installed 2 KST-A0112 linear actuators on both sides of each window. The stroke length is 300mm. And the opening angle is about 60 degrees.

The wires were pre-arranged to every skylight. All the wires are been protected by corrugated pipes.

The engineers from Louver Hitec, who fixed the linear actuators by using "U" shape stainless steel brackets. In order to make sure that all the linear actuators were fixed very tightly on the window frames. Bring is full loading force as 80 kgs, and stand the wind in the high place.

After finishing installing the electric window openers. The engineers tested all of the electric actuators for synchronizing motions of all skylight windows before they installed window glasses.

Louver Hitec, who was in charging this case, introducing a built-in remote control function actuator controller for the natatorium. By using a remote controller, the administrators could operate the windows much more easily.
