Taiwan High-Speed Rail Yunlin Station, change its image from time to time
Updated: Sep 24, 2020
Located in Huwei Township, Yunlin County, the design theme of the elevated HSR Yunlin station is “cloud” covered mountain with foggy waters and dense “forests”. Via different varieties of the outer structures, dynamically streamlined forms are composed. Together with the texture of the crystal clear glass that simulates the invisible clouds, the structures command non-blocking green views, a metaphor of clouds in the woods. In addition to providing effective shading facades, the frame structure creates an open, continuous, and column-less indoor space, and is topped with alternating high shading coefficients translucent solar panels and metallic aluminum sheets to reduce direct sunlight.
Between the block of the roof, there're designed for skylight windows. Using the sunlight during the daytime.
Each skylight was mounted two KST-A01 linear actuators with 400mm stroke length.
