Located in Huwei Township, Yunlin County, the design theme of the elevated HSR Yunlin station is a "cloud" covered mountain with foggy waters and dense "forests." Via different varieties of outer structures, dynamically streamlined forms are composed. Together with the crystal clear glass texture that simulates the invisible clouds, the designs command non-blocking green views, a metaphor for shadows in the woods. In addition to providing practical shading facades, the frame structure creates an open, continuous, and column-less indoor space. It is topped with alternating high shading coefficients, translucent solar panels, and metallic aluminum sheets to reduce direct sunlight.
Between the block of the roof, there're designed skylight windows. People could enjoy the sunlight during the daytime.
The skylights on the first-floor roof were mounted with linear actuators as electric window openers for skylight windows. Open regularly for natural ventilation.
Each skylight was mounted with two KST-A01 linear actuators with 400mm stroke length.
