Opening high windows will largely improve the natural vent of interior space. However, the community was designed with many lower windows. But the warm air is always in the higher place, near the ceiling. Open high-level windows will let the warm air out according to the chimney effect. In this case, the high-level windows are located about 2 meters high. We installed AUTOMATIC WINDOW OPENING SYSTEMs based on KST-A01 linear actuators. For operating windows electrically.
These windows are about 80 cm in width, and there must be two linear actuators for each window. With one linear actuator on each side, the windows can be pulled back and pushed out more stably and simultaneously. With two actuators, windows will be closed more tightly. Furthermore, the lifespan will be longer for linear actuators but also windows.
As for the control panel, we divided windows into several sections. Each section is with one independent wall switch. People could operate windows according to the weather.
